Moderating is an essential aspect of IVECCS’s success, and we’re inviting dedicated individuals to join us in this pivotal role. Moderators who commit to at least two half-day blocks will receive an exclusive invitation to the Speaker/Moderator reception. RSVP required.

Requirements: Must be registered to attend the meeting as an attendee, speaker, or exhibitor and willing to moderate an entire half-day track as designated (a track consists of an entire morning or an entire afternoon – approximately 4 hours).

Duties: Manage the session(s) by introducing the speaker, controlling the lights, sound, entry/exit of attendees, assisting with audiovisual needs of the speaker, etc.  Assist with Q&A after session.

Ready to take on the role of a Moderator? Complete the volunteer application form below.

Student Volunteers

Lab Technicians

IVECCS is seeking technicians to provide essential support for the wet labs during the event! This presents an excellent opportunity for you to actively contribute to IVECCS’s success.

Requirements: To participate, you must be registered as an attendee, speaker, or exhibitor for the event, and be willing to volunteer for at least one designated half-day block, totaling approximately 6 hours.

Duties: Your responsibilities will include assisting instructors in setting up the room, stations, and equipment before participants arrive. During the lab sessions, you may need to procure additional supplies from the lab supply area. After the session concludes, you’ll assist in the breakdown and cleanup of the lab, ensuring all equipment and supplies are returned to their designated areas.

Ready to lend your support as a Lab Technician? Complete the volunteer application below.

Lab Supply

Joining the lab supply team is an invaluable way to contribute to the success of IVECCS. We’re seeking technicians or veterinarians experienced in hospital supplies commonly used in emergency and critical care services.

Volunteers will receive compensation of $20/hour and complimentary registration if they commit to two half-day shifts.

Duties include assisting laboratory logistic coordinators in unpacking and packing supplies, preparing workshop kits, and handling specialized equipment typical in emergency and critical care hospital settings. Tasks involve sorting supplies, packing according to instructor lists, managing returns, creating inventory lists, and supporting supply logistics. Upon completion of their assignments, volunteers will receive a registration fee refund.

Once your volunteer commitments are fulfilled, your registration fee will be reimbursed.

Volunteer Your Well-Tempered Dog

IVECCS needs dog volunteers for some of the workshops and labs! We are looking for medium-sized, well-tempered dogs for 4 hour labs. We are not doing anything invasive – just ultrasound exams. You will be asked to stay with your dog for the duration of the lab and will be allowed to audit the lab at no charge and can receive CE credit. In addition, we are offering $150 for each lab your dog is a participant.

To apply to volunteer your dog for IVECCS, please complete the form at the button below. Upon completion of the form, you will be contacted by VECCS to confirm the lab assignment.
